The Arizona Education Association approves Krista Pacion as a recommended candidate in the Democratic primary on September 2, 2008. Having been taught at a young age that a quality education is one of the most valuable tools for preparing children for adulthood, Pacion is enthusiastic about working towards fully funding public schools in Arizona. Of Pacion’s candidacy, John Wright, the President of the Arizona Education Association, said:

The UA Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 469 has endorsed Krista Pacion in her run for State Representative of District 23. Krista Pacion stands behind unions and hopes to take their message to the Legislature in 2009.
