Krista Pacion Qualifies for Clean Elections Funding0

On June 13th, I applied for campaign funding from the Clean Elections Commission by submitting $5 contributions and forms to the Secretary of State’s office. I filed 279 contributions, 27 percent more than the 220 minimum required, becoming the first Democrat in LD 23 to receive funding.

Petition Signatures Filed to Secure Place on Ballot0

On May 27th, I filed 905 signatures to secure a place on the ballot for the Arizona House of Representatives in Legislative District 23. This was more than double the 445 needed to qualify for the ballot and more than the number of signatures filed by any other candidate in the race for State Representative of District 23.

The Democratic primary is on September 2, 2008.
